1/22/12 - A winter newsletter...
_Hello Friends and Members,
We thought we would send out a winter newsletter to let you know we're still out here and to keep you apprised of the farm's comings and goings. One thing that came in too late for the newsletter was information on some free-range chicken that's available. The chicken is from our friend, Rose Skora. She and her three kids manage the menagerie that is Adoption Acres farm. Chicken is available as a whole bird or cut into eight pieces. The cost is $3 per pound and $3.20 per pound for cut up chicken. If interested you can contact Rose at Adoption Acres at 262-806-7175 or adoptionacres@gmail.com. Adoption Acres is located in the town of Burlington in Racine County. Delivery options are possible but we will ask her if she wants to deliver orders here to the farm. Besides, it would be nice to see any of you again.
Your farmers,
Sandy and David
Archived editions of the newsletter can be found here.
